Hi, Welcome to factory !
Students begin their visit with a short walk around the grounds, while a docent explains the importance of the dam, and the workings of the mill race and waterwheel. They will view a demonstration of the basic milling process using Miller Graues 160-year-old buhrstones, and have a chance to try their hand at grinding corn using Native American methods. Costumed volunteers will demonstrate spinning and weaving, and discuss life during the Civil War. Students can also see a short presentation about slavery and the Underground Railroad.Free quote
